日経俳句会・番町喜楽会19人千住宿を元気に歩き通す
令和6年1月7日（日）、番町喜楽会と日経俳句会のメンバー19人が恒例の七福神詣を北千住で開催した。この日は朝から晴、気温11度の寒中にしては穏やかな吟行日和。三薬幹事の先導で旧日光街道に踏み出した。
七福をもらいに朝の千代田線 二堂
仲間先しんがり嬉し初詣 雀九
福詣矢立のはじめ千住宿 水馬
芭蕉翁旅立ち偲び福詣 幻水
北千住には2006年の東京藝術大学の千住キャンパス開校を皮切りに、07年には東京未来大学、10年には帝京科学大学、12年には東京電機大学と、大学キャンパスが次々とできて、元々あった放送大学の東京足立学習センターを加えて合計五つの大学が誕生した。昔の少々いかがわしい宿場町の雰囲気はガラリ一変、明るく活発な雰囲気の街になっている。
若者の街をシニアの福詣 三代

今回巡った七福神詣は①千住本氷川神社（大黒天）、②五丁目大川町氷川神社（布袋尊）、③元宿神社（寿老神）、④氷川神社（弁財天）、⑤稲荷神社（福禄寿）、⑥八幡神社（毘沙門天）、⑦千住神社（恵比寿天）であった。千住の七福神巡りは、もともと千住の町を活性化する目的で始まったようだが、北千住駅西口周辺の神社七箇所を旧千住宿の雰囲気を味わいながら歩くことができる。また、すべてが神社で、その内の三ケ所が氷川神社（千住神社も祭神が須佐之男命なのでこれも氷川神社であり、計4ヶ所となる）というのもユニークなところ。
街道に千の寿ぎ初吟行 愉里
七福神千寿と千住語呂合せ 白山
骨接ぎの名倉家ここに初詣 而云
冬温し骨接ぎ医院二百年 木葉
蒼穹の荒川土手や初吟行 青水
いかのぼり下町の空独り占め 双歩
軒先の福神拝む初湯かな 迷哲
寿老神接待の茶の呆け予防 鷹洋
まず三ヶ所の神社巡りを終えて、一旦バスで北千住駅に戻り三々五々昼食タイム。その後、駅西側の氷川神社（弁財天）、稲荷神社（福禄寿）、八幡神社（毘沙門天）、千住神社（恵比寿天）の四社を回って大願成就。
人日の陽を満身に福禄寿 水牛
溶岩の聳ゆ富士塚寒桜 可升
恵比寿像三遍まわし掛けし願 光迷
これで総距離約五キロの七福神巡りを無事終了。
満を持しての打ち上げ懇親会の会場は北千住駅東口の「牡蠣と燻屋かつを」という妙な名前の飲み屋。吟行衆19人のうち15人参加の大懇親会となった。四つのテーブルに分かれた連衆は、それぞれ日本酒やワインを楽しみながら歓談。ラストメニューの〈台湾まぜそば〉まで数々の料理を堪能、今年一年の健康と名句量産を祈った。
