番町喜楽会は令和７年１０月４日（土）、東京・九段下の千代田区生涯学習館で第２３２回例会を開催した。朝晩ようやく涼しくなり、ことにこの日は夕方に一雨あって過ごしやすくなったのだが、これまでの異常な猛暑続きで家族や自身の体調に狂いを生じた向きもあり、出席者は７人に止まった。ただし欠席者も全員投句、番喜会常連１７人の句が出そろった。今回の兼題は「鰯雲」と「水澄む」。投句総数は８２句で、６句選(欠席者は５句)で選句を進めた結果、第一席「天」の位は６点で廣田可升さんの「秋灯下挑む古城は一〇〇〇ピース」。「地」の位５点には嵐田双歩さんの「国東の水澄む磯の兜蟹」、斉山満智さんの「しっぽ立て迎える猫のいない秋」、大澤水牛さんの「百千の嘘を沈めて水澄めり」の３句が並んだ。「人」の位４点には６句がひしめき合い、３点３句、２点１０句、１点１８句という乱戦模様を呈した。兼題別の高点句（３点以上）は次の通り。
